Rory McIlroy begins his quest for a second Open title later today, with Jon Rahm and Justin Rose also in action.

The Northern Irishman’s only win at the tournament came in 2014 when he finished two shots above Rickie Fowler.

The 34-year-old comes into the tournament off an impressive win at the Scottish Open, finishing finish 15 under in North Berwick ahead of Robert MacIntyre.

Rahm will be looking for another big win this week. The Spaniard has already claimed the Masters title in the final round at Augusta.
