Paige Spiranac has claimed she shoots lower scores in golf when she wears less clothes.

The golf glamour girl, 30, took to Twitter with her latest theory after being frustrated by her latest round.

‘I want it on record that I wore a golf appropriate outfit today and it didn’t help my score,’ she wrote. ‘I shoot lower the less I wear. It’s science.’

Earlier that day, Spiranac shared a picture from a round in New Jersey, wearing a chequered green dress.

She seemed to be playing well, captioning her tweet: ‘Made birdie’.

Last month, the American claimed she had been left out of the celebrity American Century Championship in Tahoe because last year, she didn’t give the event enough social media exposure.

‘Everyone keeps asking if I’ll be in Tahoe for the celeb tournament this year but unfortunately I didn’t get invited back,’ she said.

‘Was told I didn’t give them enough exposure on social media. I guess 4 million impressions wasn’t good enough lol.

NFL stars Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen competed in the event, as well as NBA heroes Charles Barkley and Vince Carter.  Boxer Canelo Alvarez is also competing.

Last year, Spiranac finished Tied 24th and Tony Romo won it. At least now she has a theory to apply if she is ever invited back.
