Air Max Day is literally just around the corner, and Nike has only shared a small fraction of what they have in store. And while this Nike Air Max 90 might not be a part of the main festivities, it’s reveal and 3D-styled Swooshes build up anticipation all the same.
Similar to the matching Air Max Plus, this pair is built atop a simple, neutral-colored base. Both the mesh inserts as well as the leather overlays are dyed a light grey, matching the heel tab, eye stays, and part of the tread. White midsoles and laces sit adjacent, joining the seldom pops of Volt and the dark navy that dresses the cushioning, the rear’s “Nike Air,” and the Swoosh, the latter of which is obscured by the outlines of red, blue, and neon versions of itself. Additionally, the tongue label features a similarly-designed logo, further establishing the core theme.
