The Sixers hired Nick Nurse to be their next head coach, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Nurse compiled a record of 227-163 in five seasons at the helm for the Toronto Raptors, winning the franchise’s first ever NBA title in his first season as a head coach in 2019. Nurse was named the NBA’s Coach of the Year in 2020. The Raptors won five playoff series during his time in Toronto.
