Pochettino, who was appointed 18 months ago, has failed to help the Ligue 1 club break new ground in the Champions League, with PSG being eliminated in the last 16 by Real Madrid this season. Hence, it is quite obvious that the club’s hierarchy is willing to let go of the Argentine manager.

PSG wrapped up the Ligue 1 title in April to secure their only trophy of the campaign. Meanwhile, Zidane, 49, has been without a club since he departed Real Madrid at the end of the 2020-21 season.
As for his managerial career, Zidane has had a illustrious career so far. He started off at Real Madrid Castilla in 2014 and remained a coach there for a couple of years. Besides that, he has had two spells as the head coach of Real Madrid.
As a manager for the Los Blancos, Zidane won two La Liga titles, two Supercopa de Espana titles, three UEFA Champions League, two UEFA Super Cup and also as many FIFA Club World Cups. Hence, it will be fair to say that expectations will be sky high from him if he eventually joins PSG.
