According to reports in Italy, Inter President Steven Zhang called players and directors during a ‘technical briefing’ on the eve of a Supercoppa Final against Napoli to ‘congratulate’ and ‘motivate’ them.
Inter meet Napoli in a Supercoppa Final in Saudi Arabia on Monday night. They beat Lazio 3-0 in the semis and have a chance to lift the trophy for the third time in a row.
Multiple sources in Italy, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, report Inter President Zhang video-called players, staff members and directors during a technical briefing on Sunday to motivate them ahead of the Final and congratulate them for their victory over Lazio in the semis on Friday.
Zhang won’t be in the stands at the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh tonight, so he decided to call the team to make his presence felt. According to Gazzetta, Zhang ‘wished good luck’ to his players before meeting with the defending Scudetto winners.
