In the 2022 women’s final, Elena Rybakina defeated Ons Jabeur 3–6, 6–2, 6–2 in what was her first major title.

Last year, over 515,000 fans attended the All England Club over the course of the tournament, with thousands set to witness the action once again ahead of the 2023 instalment in July.

When is Wimbledon?

The first round of the 2023 Wimbledon will get underway on Monday, July 3.

It is expected to finish on Sunday, July 16 with the men’s final. The women’s final is scheduled to take place a day earlier.

As ever, the action will take place at the at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

How to buy tickets 

Fans had the chance to get tickets for this year’s tournament through the Wimbledon Public Ballot. However, the ballot closed back in December.

Those who were successful in the ballot have been contacted over the last few months.

For tennis fans who have missed out on the ballot, they will still have the chance to purchase a ticket via Keith Prowse, the official hospitality provider, or on the day through The Queue, which includes premium seats on Centre Court and No 1 Court.

Queuing for tickets begins at Wimbledon Park every morning, with up to 500 tickets available for the three Show Courts that day.
