DAN TITUS: All right. Week 15 is here and for the latest Stock Watch I’m going to talk about why fantasy managers should be buying into Keegan Murray. So first off, he’s one of only three rookies that’s in the top 80 over the last month, joining Jaylin Williams and Walker Kessler– pretty esteemed company and two players that I’d also look into buying as well. But Keegan Murray has really been heating up, ranking 55th over the last two weeks.

But it’s really his efficiency that’s really been driving him up the ranks. He’s shooting over 50% from the field, 92% from the line, and 49% from three with six attempts per game. That’s absolutely crazy efficiency in the month of January. But I’m more encouraged by the 32 minutes that he’s been averaging on the floor over the course of the last month, which is higher than November and December, where he has barely even seen 30 minutes. So I think there’s a lot of upside here with Keegan Murray. Now, even if his shot regresses a bit, I still feel like there’s an encouraging development in his game, mainly in the rebounding category as he’s notched two double doubles over the last week, and he’s raised his rebounding average up to 5 over the course of this month. So that plus factoring in that the Sacramento Kings have one of the best fantasy-friendly schedules in the playoffs, playing over 11 games over the final three weeks of the season, this is a great time to buy Keegan Murray while he’s still ranked outside the top 100 in fantasy.
