Given how strong his play has been this season — particularly since January and in the postseason most of all — it is not a wild position to take that veteran Boston Celtics combo guard Derrick White is the Celtics’ most valuable player.
And while White might not rise to the level of a league-wide MVP, the Colorado native has been the most consistent member of the team’s roster this season. Playing in all 82 games (the only one on the team to do so), White has been rock solid on defense while also being able to ramp up his offense when called on to do so.

A. Sherrod Blakely, Gary Washburn, and Kwani A. Lunis recently debated just how valuable White has been this season; see if you agree with their takes in the clip above.
