Whenever someone asks “What’s the worst that can happen?”, the reality is almost always worse than whatever it might seem to be at first glance. And with the NBA’s 2023 offseason here in earnest, getting what the worst that could happen right is a critical concern for every team in the league not currently fighting for an NBA championship.
One intrepid analyst recently elected to try and join those teams on that fraught journey, with the “Hoops Reference” YouTube channel doing their best to identify what the worst-case scenario for each team in the league would be, and the Boston Celtics were of course included.
