Here we take a look at some Bridlen brogues with updated changes from the critiques I made in my first unboxing video. I had made some observations about their pattern/lasts etc and so they decided to create a new pair for me, taking into account these critiques in the hopes of upgrading their shoes. I find that very admirable and am happy to hopefully be helping a brand elevate its skillset. The shoes are very well made and deserve the details to match!
Indian shoe brand, Bridlen, has come a long way and is producing some fantastic shoes while building quite a good reputation. Outside of this exact pair I recently saw and handled some of their other shoes that reminded me of a British shoe costing 3x the price. So needless to say they are making their improvements and it is evident in these brogues.
As Bridlen continues its growth in the welted shoe industry, I am curious to see how it progresses. The owners are fantastic people and they really care about doing a good job and it shows. Bridlen is getting into the workwear boot scene, which is the latest shoe trend, but I am curious to see how they progress in their dress shoes. And these brogues give me hope!
