Andre Jackson Jr., fresh off of helping UConn win its fifth national championship, is reportedly planning to enter the 2023 NBA Draft, though there is a chance he could still return to school.

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Jackson plans to enter the draft but retain his college eligibility, for the time being. The 6-foot-6 guard will participate in the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago next month, per ESPN, and has until May 31 to decide whether he wants to officially enter the draft or return to Storrs, Conn. for his senior season.

The Amsterdam, N.Y. native hasn’t put up huge scoring numbers as a Husky, but his all-around game is a big reason why Dan Hurley and UConn ended the year on top of the college basketball world.

Over the course of his three seasons, Jackson, a versatile defender, has averaged 6.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, and he upped his scoring average slightly to 6.6 points per game during the tournament.

Jackson’s teammates Adama Sanogo and Jordan Hawkins have already announced that they will enter the 2023 NBA Draft.
