- Tyrell Hatton has reportedly signed a £50m deal to defect to LIV Golf
- The Englishman will now follow Ryder Cup team-mate Jon Rahm to the tour
- Rahm became LIV’s greatest coup after signing massive £450m deal last month
Tyrell Hatton has reportedly joined LIV Golf after putting pen to paper on a deal worth up to £50million.
Hatton, a member of the 2023 Ryder Cup-winning Team Europe, is now set to follow his team-mate Jon Rahm to the rebel circuit.
The Englishman, ranked World No 16, is said to have turned down previous offers from Greg Norman’s breakaway over reluctance to risk dropping of the top 50 and missing out on qualifying for the majors.
But an improved offer has turned Hatton’s head with the 32-year-old now deciding to join Rahm’s new team, according to The Telegraph.
Rahm became LIV’s greatest coup when he inked a massive £450m ($500m) deal last month, which also saw him take control of his own team.
