Tom Brady made sure there were at least two GOATs at Flushing Meadows on semifinal night, linking up with Novak Djokovic postgame before watching Carlos Alcaraz stunningly lose at the hands of Daniil Medvedev.
Brady was not present for the Serb’s straight sets triumph over American prodigy Ben Shelton this evening as he waited for his children to finish the school day in Miami before jetting up to New York.
The US Open’s social media channels captured Brady meeting up with his friend Djokovic, whom he watched from the player’s box at the French Open final.
The pair exchanged pleasantries before Brady introduced his sons Benjamin and Jack, and daughter, Vivian, to the tennis icon.
It is little wonder who Brady will be supporting to win the U.S. Open crown Sunday, as he told Djokovic; ‘keep kicking ass like always’, to which he replied ‘[I’m] trying.’

Djokovic asked the seven-time Super Bowl champion how he was, drawing an ‘all’s great’ from the future Hall of Famer.
Following the interaction, Brady and his three children made their way to box seats for the second semifinal between Alcaraz and Medvedev.
Much like every attendee, the Bradys enjoyed the spectacle put on by the No. 1 and No. 3 seed, setting up a rematch of the 2021 final between Medvedev and Djokovic.
After his defeat of Borna Gojo in the Round of 16, Djokovic discussed his friendship with Brady.
‘Tom Brady being in my box for Roland Garros finals, and sitting next to my wife, was a huge honor,’ he said.
‘I have a relationship with Tom for several years. We go back. I have tremendous respect for him.
‘His longevity, I feel like his way of approaching recovery, is something that I feel like is a subject that interests us both.
‘We spoke a lot on that topic. Hopefully we will more pick each other’s brains in the future.
‘I respect the greatness,’ Djokovic said of his friendships with Brady, Zlatan Ibrahimović and Nikola Jokic.
‘Especially the guys that have made it to an all-time great level in their respective sports. Those are the kind of people that you want to be around.
‘You want to learn things from them because you never know, there are things that can be so inspirational, as they are in my relationship with Tom.’
