The Philadelphia 76ers have two games remaining on the schedule starting with Friday’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. Considering that the Sixers are locked into the No. 3 seed, now is the time to rest their main players and prepare them for the playoffs.

With the Sixers already sitting James Harden, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and PJ Tucker for this matchup, they will now sit out Tobias Harris and De’Anthony Melton. Harris is dealing with a left hip issue while Melton is dealing with right calf tightness and he left Thursday’s home finale loss to the Miami Heat in the third quarter.

The Sixers will have their young players to lean on and get some playing time on Friday and probably on Sunday in the season finale with the Brooklyn Nets. Jaden Springer will be available as well as two-way players Mac McClung and Louis King after all three helped the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, win the G League championship.
