Steve Wiebe Air Jordan 4 PE

Since entering the League in 2017, Jayson Tatum has begun slowly covering his skin in tattoos drawn from the hand of famed artist Steve Wiebe. Having been contracted to ink a myriad of personal pieces that draw direct inspiration from Tatum’s roots, the work sprawled across the four-time All-Star’s back and legs have now been rendered into a collaborative denim-coated Air Jordan 4 PE.

Previously touching down the same ink-drawn aesthetic across Tatum’s Air Jordan 37, the distressed textured upper features a jet-black base layer while the detailed hand-drawn imagery of the Celtics forward’s tattoos coats the entirety of the model in a light cream contrast. Save the tongue’s grid-layered construction and the midfoot’s side vent, the neutral wash of cream returns to outfit the semi-translucent overlays and heel tab while its midsole underfoot pairs with a crisp white heel and vibrant red tread.

Strutting through the tunnel of TD Garden ahead of the Celtics’ Friday night contest against the Phoenix Suns, Tatum debuted the pair on foot while @uninstructedvision – a sneaker photographer who’s previously worked with Jumpman – captured photos of the laser-etched ensemble. While the pair was crafted exclusively for friends and family, enjoy an official look at the Steve Wiebe x Air Jordan 4 “Jayson Tatum” Player Exclusive below
