Steph Curry’s historic Game 4 performance was so exceptional that even one of his biggest critics had to give him his props after the Warriors’ 107-97 win over the Boston Celtics on Friday.

Fox Sports 1’s Nick Wright, who’s never shied away from crucifying the Warriors, praised Curry on Twitter after he took matters into his own hands in what was the Warriors’ most important game of the season so far.

Wright has been extremely outspoken about the Warriors this season, saying he wasn’t convinced that this year’s squad could get them very far.

And even after working their way through the postseason, Wright didn’t think they’d get past the Western Conference finals when they faced the Dallas Mavericks.

Wright was very confident the Mavs would take the series in five games, but it was Golden State which wound up winning in five.

During that same series, Wright also admitted that his 90-second ripping of Andrew Wiggins was his “most regrettable television take” after the Warriors took a 3-0 lead in the series.

To Curry, he’s managed to block out the outside noise and is focused on the big picture. He said he doesn’t rank his performances, and cares more about winning games.

And it’ll take two more wins to collect his fourth ring in eight seasons.
