For most, the Labor Day weekend means it’s time to unwind and relax on the unofficial end of summer.
For Philadelphia 76ers rising star Tyrese Maxey, the young man was in the gym putting in work on the holiday. Of course, he had to post something on his personal Instagram story as is customary for the young man out of Kentucky.
Maxey is obviously looking to build on a very strong second season in the NBA. He averaged 17.5 points and 4.3 assists while shooting 42.7% from deep. He is primed to have a big season for the Sixers, and he has a chance to make an All-Star appearance in 2023.

Maxey’s work ethic is undeniable. The guy just has a thirst to get better every single day. His personal mantra has always been “get 1% better every day” and it appears that he is practicing what he preaches. He has been very impressive thus far.
