It’s the dog days of the NBA offseason and now is the time when a lot of players enjoy some downtime and some vacation time before training camp opens up again at the end of September.
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is in the middle of enjoying his offseason and being able to rest a bit and he took his game to the park. He was seen in a pickup game with a couple of guys who were there and he decided to have some fun out on the asphalt.
Embiid was toying with his defender a bit and he threw the ball off the face of who was guarding him. He then caught it and threw down a vicious windmill slam in his usual Embiid way.
The video is old, but it’s good to refresh things.
Embiid had a helluva 2021-22 season with the Sixers and he is expected to guide them to a deep playoff run in the 2022-23 season. He and James Harden are expected to team up and Philadelphia will have some high expectations when the season begins.
