Sixers Star James Harden Viewed As Active Lock To Make Hall Of Fame

With the enshrinement for the 2022 basketball Hall of Fame class set for Saturday, now is the time to look at some candidates who have a shot to get into the Hall and etch their name in basketball history.

The Philadelphia 76ers have some candidates on their roster and one player that obviously stands out is James Harden who has accomplished so much in his NBA career.

The 3rd overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft, Harden has a 6th Man of the Year award, an MVP award, three scoring titles, seven All-NBA appearances, 10 All-Star appearances, and a spot on the 75th Anniversary Team on his resume. That kind of production deserves respect in the history of the game.

The Athletic named Harden as one of the active locks to make the Hall whenever he does decide to hang up his sneakers:

Harden is the only player to win Sixth Man of the Year, MVP and a scoring title.

When one looks at Harden’s overall career, he is an obvious future Hall of Famer. The only thing missing from his resume is a championship and he has a huge chance to do that in the 2022-23 season with the Sixers. The hope is that due to having an offseason to rest his troublesome hamstring and work out on his own, he can come back and look like his explosive self on the offensive end of the floor.
