Should the Boston Celtics try to trade for San Antonio Spurs big man Jakob Poeltl? The German center has been recently linked to the Celtics as a potential player of interest who could be on the move this season ahead of the Feb. 2023 trade deadline given the Spurs’ designs on securing a top 2023 lottery pick.
But with Boston seemingly having sorted out their lack of frontcourt depth while Robert Williams III and Danilo Gallinari heal up, does it make sense to burn the sort of assets he will likely command for the Celtics to get the deal done?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast recently dug into this very question, with A. Sherrod Blakeley and Bobby Manning sharing their feelings on whether it makes sense to deal for the San Antonio center.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear their point of view.
