Adidas and Sanrio are building on the momentum from the release of their popular “Hello Kitty” collection last year with a new sneaker project coming soon.
Newly leaked images from @Kicksdong on Instagram show a first look at the upcoming “Hello Kitty” Adidas Samba 2.0 collab. This collaborative low-top sneaker is equipped with a white leather upper and decorated with Hello Kitty embroidery throughout. There is also contrasting black Three Stripes branding at the midfoot, along with a matching suede toe cap. The shoe also comes with pink hits on the heel tab, co-branded insoles, and a pink-tinted translucent outsole.
Adidas isn’t the only sneaker brand that recently collaborated with Sanrio to release Hello Kitty-themed shoes. Nike also revisited its coveted “Hello Kitty” Presto shoe from 2004 with a new collab last year.
Despite a first look from @Kicksdong on Instagram, release details for this “Hello Kitty” Samba 2.0 have yet to be announced by either of the parties involved. Scroll on for a closer look at the upcoming project.
