Ronnie Fieg has proven that he’s always working. And while the Queens-native continues to work on 10th anniversary-related projects for his Kith empire, the visionary is also taking time to help brands like Clarks celebrate milestones of their own.
On November 5th, Fieg will team up with the English institution on another installment of their ongoing 8th Street collection. Additionally, the Kith-frontman helped faithfully recreate the Desert Trek for its 50th anniversary, bringing back the silhouette’s signature central forefoot seam, tried-and-proven crepe sole and versatile suede color. The Trek Hi 50 Shoe re-launch is accompanied by Clarks Originals’ Trek Man graphic, which appears via celebratory sock artwork, fob and bespoke heel counter design.
For their latest joint effort, Fieg and Clarks have also outfitted the Lockhill, Sandford, Breacon and Radlett silhouettes in an assortment of colors inspired by New York City’s shoe scene in the 1990s. A mix of high-quality nubuck and suede takes over all four models, with autumn and winter-appropriate oxblood, dark olive, light grey and other hues taking center stage. Each take by Ronnie Fieg sits atop Clarks’ iconic crepe tooling, delivering timeless style.
