Pete Davidson is lightening up after leaving “SNL.”
One week after his final appearance on the late-night sketch show that made him famous, the comedian was spotted outside of girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s Calabasas office with a brand-new ‘do.
Davidson, 28, wore a shower cap over his freshly bleached blond locks and was joined by the platinum-haired Skims founder, who was dressed in a nude two-piece set from her shapewear label.
Kardashian, 41, showed off the results of her beau’s dye job on Instagram Stories Sunday, sharing a series of sweet videos of the couple snuggling and smooching with their matching manes on full display.
The reality star unveiled her own blond transformation on the Met Gala 2022 red carpet earlier this month, where she arrived wearing Marilyn Monroe’s iconic “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress from 1962, and has stuck with the lighter look ever since.
“I did want a physical change … so I thought I would wait and do it for this, so I’m spending a day straight dyeing my hair — 14 hours straight! — to get it done,” Kardashian told Vogue ahead of the ball.
The star’s longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton, recently opened up about taking her blond as well.
“It really is a process,” he told E! News. “It’s definitely not just about putting a color on all over and hoping for the best … We were fully comfortable and ready to go because we both knew it was gonna be a long session. Kim’s done the color before. She knows.”
While Davidson’s been blond before as well (as recently as December 2021, in fact), perhaps he too was looking for a physical change to mark the next chapter of his career.
