During the second quarter of Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors forward Otto Porter Jr. appeared to suffer an injury after finishing a strong layup at the rim.

Porter Jr. later exited the contest and did not return due to left foot soreness. Although Porter Jr.’s postgame X-rays came back negative, the veteran is considered doubtful for Game 4, per Steve Kerr.

Despite his recent injury struggles, Porter Jr. is coming off an impressive stretch. The eight-year pro has tallied double-figures in scoring off the bench in four of his last six games. During the postseason, Porter Jr. is averaging 5.5 points on 46.7% shooting from the floor with 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 20.7 minutes per contest.

If Porter Jr. is ruled out for Game 4. the Warriors will need to go deeper into their bench. Steve Kerr could opt to play rookie Jonathan Kuminga or veterans Nemanja Bjelica and Juan Toscano-Anderson off the bench in Porter Jr.’s place.

The Warriors will have the chance to sweep the Mavericks in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday. Game 4 is set to tip at 6 p.m. at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Tuesday.
