Ons Jabeur has secured a place in the Wimbledon final after beating Tatjana Maria on Centre Court during the Women’s first Wimbledon semi-final on Thursday afternoon.
Jabeur’s victory has seen her become the first Arab woman to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament – having beaten Maria 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
Jabeur, a quarter-finalist at Wimbledon last year, will be hoping to continue her fine run of form in Saturday’s final when she faces either Simon Halep or Elena Rybakina.
