First teased in late July 2021, the Off-White x Nike Blazer Low in “White” and “Black” officially arrives on April 8th, marking the first posthumous retail launch of Virgil Abloh‘s Swoosh collaboration.
While not as technical a modification as ACRONYM‘s most recent joint-effort with the North American sportswear giant, Abloh’s proposition gives the low-top version of the first Nike Basketball one of its most experimental makeovers since it debuted in the 1970s. Holes are punctured all throughout both upcoming pairs’ uppers, while additional lace loops are applied adjacently. Helvetica text assumes its typical Off-White role on the medial side, allowing for the biggest update to the Nike Blazer variant to appear underfoot at the heel. Midsoles and herringbone-patterned tread underfoot give the “White” style a vintage look, while the “Black” counterpart opts for a semi-speckled arrangement.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” retro is expected before June ends.
A release date is expected on April 8th, 2022.
