While the popularity surrounding Drake and 21 Savage’s collaborative album, Her Loss, has been upended by Metro Boomin’s release of HEROES & VILLAINS this past weekend, Champaign Papi has shifted focus to his lifestyle sub-label and its continued expansion of the Nike Hot Step Air Terra.
Receiving an on-foot look at the lavender-hued proposition from Drake’s Instagram in mid November, recently leaked imagery showcases the latest ACG-inspired effort centered around a crisp white base accented with golden embellishments.
Coating its perforated and puffed-up upper in a dominant near-clad white ensemble, colorless matches lay claim to the laces, mesh tongue construction and stitched heel counter whereas seldom jet-black contrasts remain tucked away through the sock and tongues inner liner. Both the heel and vamp’s Swoosh alongside the back tabs metallic-platted panel render an eye-catching premium brush of gold amidst the monochrome aesthetic. Underfoot, the ridged midsole differs slightly from the aforementioned shade of the upper, centering a full-length extension of “Sail” above a semi-translucent icy blue tread in conclusion.
