An extension of the Air Force 1’s legend grown from both the hardwood and the sprawling hip-hop scene, the Nike Dunk is cemented in the various cultural avenues that the game of basketball extends from. Following its homage to the genre’s invention in the Bronx through an Air Force 1 Low, The Swoosh is preparing a “Nike Classics” pack that honors its role in the hip-hop ecosystem.
Kicking things off with an “Olive” and grey Dunk High, cracked tumbled leathers lay claim to the entirety of the silhouette, centering its dark green shade along its overlays and laces whereas its base layer indulges in the tonal grey outfit. Elsewhere, silver and black finishes extend along the midfoot Swooshes whereas underfoot, its sole unit indulges in a tried-and-true white and black pairing. Connected to the pack based on varying musical motifs, the insoles take on a Parental Discretion Advised influence in tandem with cassette tape inspired tongue tabs.
