As we head into the last few months of the year, the attention has changed hands from the Air Force 1 to the Air Max 97. And to appropriately celebrate the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette’s 25th Anniversary, Nike has prepared a Retro of the iconic “Silver Bullet,” which is expected to land this November. The festivities are to extend into the following year, too, as the “Gold Bullet” is also due to return during the Spring of 2023.
Following leaks this past August, official images of the 2023 Nike Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet” have finally surfaced. Like its original release in 1999 and its last appearance in 2018, this upcoming edition of the colorway is dressed predominantly in gold leather and mesh. Red Swooshes are intact as well, embroidered across the side and tongue adjacent to a series of blacked out details. Finally, white midsoles round out the look, doing so in parallel to the shoe’s gilded cushioning.
For a closer look at the 2023 “Gold Bullet,” check out the official images below. Again, these are reportedly set to land sometime during the Spring of 2023, with some outlets pointing to a March release.
In other news, a OVO BAPE STA was just revealed.
