Nike has no shortage of collections each season, conjoining its most popular lifestyle models into a cohesive ensemble of shared aesthetics. For the Sportswear Banner’s latest initiative, a multi-color “Corduroy” tooling transforms the Air Max 90.
Much like its Air Max 97 counterpart, the entirety of the upper is composed exclusively in the corduroy textile while sharing a similar ensemble of ruby, dark teal and tan accents. Composed of a faded collection of fall-friendly pastels, the “Bronzine”-treated profile swooshes shine amidst the patchwork constructed base layer while a titular pink “Stardust” illuminates the vamp. Jet-black contrasts fill the laces, tread, Max Air cushioning and logos, bringing a pitch-dark clarity to the pair’s background embellishments.
