Nick Kyrgios has revealed he could walk away from tennis in 2023 after reflecting on his best year on the circuit.

Kyrgios, 27, enjoyed a magical run at Wimbledon earlier this year, reaching the grand slam final at the All England Tennis Club before being defeated by Novak Djokovic over four sets.

His superb form over the past 12 months has raised expectations that he will become the first male tennis player since Lleyton Hewitt to bring a grand slam back to Australia, but Kyrgios says it has become a heavy burden.

‘I had a lot of fun this season,’ Kyrgios said.
