In complement to their icons, New Balance often introduces entirely new silhouettes: the 90/60, the XC-72, and the 327, to name a few. And according to insiders, the brand will soon be adding yet another contemporary sneaker to their catalog.
Enter the New Balance Warped Runner, a brand new style that — though reportedly inspired by the design language of the 990 series — is unlike much of the brand’s current catalog. A sleeker, more streamlined sibling to the aforementioned franchise, the model boasts a familiar construction comprised of both suede and mesh. But unlike the paneling of its several predecessors, this shoe’s overlays are laid down in a way almost completely seamless. The stitching, though, helps to create dimension, as does the oversized “N” logo and intricately sculpted, FUELCELL-cushioned sole unit.
