The Nets are waiving two-way guard Armoni Brooks, the team announced Saturday.

Brooks, 25, averaged 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game over 10 contests with Brooklyn this season. In two games with the Long Island Nets of the G League, Brooks averaged 17.5 points on 52.4 percent shooting from three-point range.

After averaging a team-high 17.6 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and 47 percent from behind the arc during the 2023 Summer League, Brooks inked a two-way contract with the Nets on July 18, 2023.

Brooks went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft following his collegiate career at the University of Houston. He’s played 84 career NBA games during his time with the Houston Rockets (61 games), Toronto Raptors (13 games), and Nets, averaging 6.6 points with 145 made threes (33.1 percent for his career).
