The Nets are signing Harry Giles to a one-year contract, according to reports Friday afternoon by Chris Haynes and Michael Scotto.
Giles, 25, most recently worked out with the Golden State Warriors Aug. 8.
His latest season was the 2021-22 campaign with the Agua Caliente Clippers of the Los Angeles Clippers. He suffered a season-ending injury Jan. 23, 2022, and the Clippers waived him.
Giles’ 2020-21 season came with the Portland Trail Blazers. In 38 games, Giles averaged 2.8 points and 3.5 rebounds over 9.8 minutes.
From 2018-20 with the Sacramento Kings, Giles averaged seven points and 3.9 rebounds in 14.3 minutes while starting 17 of 104 games. The Kings selected Giles from Duke with the 2017 NBA Draft’s No. 20 overall pick.
