Nets’ Mikal Bridges Ranked 38th In The Ringer’s Latest Player Rankings

Brooklyn Nets wing Mikal Bridges is ranked as the 38th-best player in the NBA in The Ringer‘s latest version of their top-125 players in the league. The list was updated on May 1st. For context, Bridges was ranked just behind Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving and just ahead of Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green.

Bridges, the 10th overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, has shown the NBA world a lot since he was traded to the Nets in the Kevin Durant deal at the trade deadline in February. While Bridges was billed as a 3-and-D style of player on the wing, once he arrived in Brooklyn, he showed that he could be one of the main scorers on a playoff team as he led the Nets to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Bridges, 26, is most likely one of the players that Brooklyn will build around whether the organization decides to win now or enter a full rebuild. While the team makes decisions on restricted free-agent Cam Johnson and injured-but-talented guard Ben Simmons, Bridges will be one of the players they can depend on or get a lot for in the trade market.
