The Brooklyn Nets have made it through most of their offseason as they have seen their young draft picks in action and have made their moves in free-agency to get better for a playoff run next season. The organization has one reason to be happy about their offseason.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report, Greg Swartz said that Brooklyn’s biggest win this summer was re-signing forward Cam Johnson. Johnson, 27, came into this offseason as a restricted free-agent which gave the Nets a better change of bringing him back to Brooklyn because they had the ability to match any offer sheet that Johnson received from another team.

Johnson, selected with the 11th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, came to Brooklyn as part of the Kevin Durant trade. In 25 games, Johnson averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 46.8% from the field and 37.2% from three last season for the Nets.
