The Philadelphia 76ers finished off one impressive road trip with a dominant 117-94 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. It was a terrific performance when considering the fact that it was the second night of a back-to-back and it was the final game of the trip. It can be easy to look ahead to returning home after a long trip.
Instead, the Sixers stayed focused and they were able to finish up a 4-1 road trip. Joel Embiid was phenomenal all night as he led Philadelphia with 39 points on 13-for-22 shooting with seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocks. He frustrated Rudy Gobert all night long and made sure the Sixers walked away with a win.
Along with a big Embiid night, the Sixers received 27 points and five assists from Tyrese Maxey, 10 points and 14 rebounds from Tobias Harris, and 11 points and seven rebounds from De’Anthony Melton.
