The Philadelphia 76ers were able to pick up one wild win in Indianapolis on Monday night when they got into a shootout with the Indiana Pacers. Philadelphia was able to overcome a hot shooting performance by the Pacers and win it 147-143 and improve to 3-1 on this current five-game road trip with one more game to go.
James Harden had one terrific game as a playmaker as he went for only 14 points, but he had 20 assists and also had nine rebounds in the win. The Beard was terrific all night long and Philadelphia benefitted from his elite passing and point guard skills.
Along with Harden’s huge night, the Sixers also received 42 points out of Joel Embiid and 24 points from Tyrese Maxey. Also, Jalen McDaniels stepped in for an injured Tobias Harris and PJ Tucker and he had 20 points with eight rebounds. That helped overcome 40 points and 16 assists from Indiana star Tyrese Haliburton.
