The Spring and Summer season saw Maison Margiela’s MM6 diffusion line and Salomon expand its collaborative relationship with a duo of polarizing installments. Crafting a high-end take on the French equipment company’s strident hiking solutions, the two entities have already formulated their third collaboration that further blurs the lines between fashion and function.
Embarking upon a trio of colorways atop the ACS Pro Advanced, the technical trail-running solution is cast in “Heather/Blue Bonnet”, “Black/Quiet Shade” and “Metal/Ghost Grey”. Aside from the added lace fastener and co-branded details, the low-top trim exudes the same aesthetics and details as its inline counterpart. Matching the rise in eccentrically suave outerwear, the mid-2000s silhouette remains true to its foraging roots with its serrated tread and TPU caging system.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon ACS Pro Advanced collection is scheduled to release on October 26th. In the meantime, each colorway can be seen below in detailed imagery.
