The Los Angeles Lakers may have played in spurts throughout this year’s NBA Summer League, but they had a few players that clearly stood out.

First-round draft pick Jalen Hood-Schifino, though inconsistent, flashed his potential on occasion. Forward Cole Swider and undrafted guard D’Moi Hodge threw in darts from downtown on a consistent basis, while big man Colin Castleton showed off an interesting skill set.

But the best of the summer Lakers by far was Max Christie. The incoming second-year wing shot a high percentage, especially from 3-point range, and he made every single free throw he attempted in three games in Las Vegas.

Christie seems on his way to earning significant playing time with the big-league Lakers this coming season.
