Matt Wallace is within touching distance of a first DP World Tour victory for three years after claiming a share of the lead going into the final round of the Dutch Open.
Wallace mastered windy conditions at Bernardus Golf to card a two-under 70 and join Frenchman Victor Perez at the top of the leaderboard on 10-under.
The Englishman picked up three titles during a golden summer in 2018 but the 32-year-old has been on a barren run since.

‘This is what I want to do, this is where I want to be,’ said Wallace, who has suffered five runner-up finishes since his last tour victory.
‘I’m pleased with the way I hit it, kept it tight in difficult conditions and I knew I needed to do that this weekend. Now I need to do it again.’
Wallace needs to fend off a packed leaderboard with the top 15 players separated by just five shots. In-form New Zealander Ryan Fox heads a four-man group on nine-under, one shot off the pace.

Justin Thomas suffered a US PGA Championship hangover when he failed to make the cut in Texas, five days after landing his second major.
Thomas could do no wrong at Southern Hills last weekend but it was a different story at this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth.
He carded a two-over 72 to miss the cut by two shots but did not seem overly perturbed. Hours later and back home in Florida he posted a picture with a beer in one hand, the US PGA trophy in the other, and the caption: ‘Cheers to an eventful three weeks on the road. Might have ended with a MC but hey, at least I still get to bring this home.’
