Veteran Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart has made himself a career out of being in the right place at the right time with an assist, but this time the Flower Mound native has really outdone himself. In a recent tweet from Children’s Wisconsin Hospital, the hospital shared that Smart hooked their Infusion and Dialysis areas up with a pair of “Smart carts.”
The carts in question are chock full of Nintendo Switch Lites, tablets, games, and other items to help keep young patients busy while they get treated at the hospital. Smart evidently put it together in honor of Milwaukee Bucks star floor general Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren.
The Celtics star had a little help in the venture, with his Young Game Changer organization working with the Bucks, and the Milwaukee Bucks Social Responsibility Department, Lenovo, Nintendo, AVer Information, and the Holiday family.
While Jrue and Smart may be opponents on the court, this is one team-up they both managed to win.
