The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Monday that Lu Dort suffered a concussion during Sunday’s training camp practice and was placed under concussion protocol.
The Thunder will play the Denver Nuggets on Monday without Dort, who did not travel with the team.
Dort’s return is unknown and with the regular season starting in about two weeks on Oct. 19, it’s unknown if he will be ready to play by then.
Dort is entering the first year of a five-year, $87.5 million deal he signed with the team this past offseason. Dort is entering the fourth season of his NBA career after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft.
