The Los Angeles Lakers suffered yet another gut-wrenching loss on Saturday in the final moments of a game, this time to the Boston Celtics. But fans at least felt a glimmer of hope because the team has been getting healthier.

Anthony Davis played his second straight game after being out for over five weeks with a stress injury in his right foot, while guard Lonnie Walker IV returned after missing a few weeks with knee tendinitis.

Unfortunately, the Lakers will take somewhat of a step backward in terms of their health, as Davis and LeBron James will sit out Monday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Nets aren’t at full strength either, as superstar forward Kevin Durant continues to be sidelined with a sprained MCL, while Ben Simmons missed their last contest with a knee ailment of his own.

The Lakers will have a short turnaround after playing Brooklyn, as they will then head into the city to take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
