Kylie Jenner is being accused of “trying to cosplay as middle class” by shopping at Target amid backlash over her private jet usage.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum, 24, posted a TikTok video Monday of herself pushing her daughter, Stormi, and her nieces Chicago and True, all 4, in a shopping cart.
“Where are we going, girls?” Jenner asked.
“Target!” the cousins replied in unison.
“Do you guys not want to get any bowls?” the “Kardashians” star asked the little ones while walking through the home goods section before bringing them to the toys.
“Did u rent out target for this real question,” one TikTok user commented on the upload, while another wrote that the almost-billionaire was “playing normal life simulator.”
In a Reddit thread discussing the footage, one user accused Jenner of “trying to appeal to us peasants,” calling her “out of touch.” A second simply wrote, “What in the damage control?”
The TikTok post came one week after the reality star took a 17-minute private jet flight from Camarillo, Calif., to Van Nuys, Calif., which is an estimated 45-minute drive.
Jenner subsequently shared a black-and-white shot of herself hugging her boyfriend, Travis Scott, between both of their jets, boastfully writing, “you wanna take mine or yours?”
The makeup mogul was previously slammed for her jet usage in 2019 when she picked up her sister Kendall Jenner for dinner in a custom Global Express aircraft.
And in May, Kylie and her mom, Kris Jenner, made eyes roll when they navigated a gas station and a grocery store in awe in an episode of their family’s Hulu show.
Kris, 66, noted in a confessional that she “stopped going to the grocery store because the people that were in the grocery store were sneaking pictures, and suddenly paparazzi would show up.”
The Kylie Cosmetics creator, however, needed “the experience of checking out” at the supermarket, saying, “I’ve waited for this for years.”
As the talent manager’s youngest child made their purchase and returned their shopping cart, Kris cheered.
“Go, Kylie, go!” the matriarch gushed at the time. “Kylie, you’re doing amazing, sweetie — wow, look at her go! Great job!”
