After briefly becoming a free agent, rookie guard Trevor Keels is back with the New York Knicks after the team opted to re-sign him to a two-way contract.

Keels was previously signed to a two-way contract and spent the majority of the season in the G League with the Westchester Knicks. The team converted him to a 10-day contract on Feb. 23 and opted against re-signing him at the conclusion of that deal.

He is back with the team now on a two-way contract.

The 42nd pick has made two appearances with New York this season. He logged 57 seconds on Oct. 21 in their second game of the season and then three minutes on March 1 on his 10-day contract. He scored three points and one rebound in that outing.
