Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson went glam for the 23rd annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor show Sunday night.
No stranger to dressing up, the “Kardashians” star stunned in a scoop-neck gown and a low ponytail while her boyfriend cleaned up nicely in an all-black look paired with white sneakers.
The couple attended the Kennedy Center event to support Jon Stewart, who was honored with the award for lifetime achievement in humor.
Other attendees included Steve Carell, who was seated next to the pair, Samantha Bee, Dave Chappelle, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Olivia Munn, Ed Helms and Bruce Springsteen.
A close pal of Davidson’s, Stewart said in March that the “Saturday Night Live” star was doing the best he could amid drama with Kardashian’s ex husband Kanye West.
“I think he’s doing as best you can in that situation when you’re dealing with something that’s so explosive and loaded, with all kinds of other things,” Stewart, 59, said on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show.
“I just love that kid,” he added.
The former “Daily Show” host noted that he knows Davidson, 28, “real well” and that the “Big Time Adolescence” star is trying very hard to navigate the once-intense situation that included nearly nonstop harassment from West, 44, on social media.
“He’s just a kid trying to live his life. [He’s] one of my favorite people,” Stewart said, adding, “He’s just a smart, funny kid trying to live his life.”
Stewart, who did not mention Kardashian, 41, during the conversation, emphasized that he is protective of Davidson because of how life for some comedians has turned out.
“I always have a very paternal instinct on those guys because I’ve seen too many of my friends get in trouble and some of them die, and you don’t [want that],” he said. “It’s a f–ked-up business.”
Kardashian and Davidson have been officially dating since November 2021.
