Despite being knocked out in the semi-finals of the Consortium Cup, Kasina is still receiving their very own pair of collaborative adidas. And rather than tackle the project on their own, the Korean retailer is commissioning the artistic expertise of Kim Jung Gi, who has painted atop the Campus in his signature style.
Before putting his brush along the shoe, Kim Jung Gi laid eyes on a largely blank adidas Campus, whose gold, black, and white colorway offered little in the way of visuals. Even the heel tab was completely bare, allowing the artist to draw his very own interpretation of the classic Trefoil. And he didn’t just stop there, covering the shoe’s upper and insoles with tigers and an accompanying female heroine.
