It’s about time.
Khloé Kardashian made her debut at the Met Gala 2022 on Monday night, after years of missing out on an invite to fashion’s biggest night out.
The “Kardashians” star, 37, wowed as she arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City wearing a semi-sheer, shimmering gold gown. She completed the bedazzled look with long black gloves and gold sunglasses.
The theme this year is “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” — following last year’s “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” — and the dress code called for “gilded glamour.”
For the first time, all of the Kardashian-Jenner women – including Khloé, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie and their mom Kris – are attending the gala.
Aside from Khloé, Kourtney also made her Met debut alongside fiancé Travis Barker –although she had reportedly been invited once before this.
The mother of three reportedly turned down an opportunity to attend in September 2021 because Khloé was “blacklisted” and Kourtney “didn’t want to leave her alone,” a source previously told Radar Online.

The insider also claimed Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, thought the Good American founder was “too C-list to be there.”
However, Khloé quickly shut down that rumor on social media.
She tweeted in September 2021 that the gossip is “Absolutely NOT True” after a fan asked her to “please clarify” because they would “burn that dinosaurs bones” if it were true.
However, it is true that Wintour, 72, has not always been a fan of having the Kardashians at her $30,000-a-ticket event.
Kim, 41, recalled on Twitter in 2019 that she was invited for her first time in 2013 because she was Kanye West’s plus one.
“I didn’t know anyone & I’m sure no one wanted me there lol,” she captioned photos of herself at the event, which she attended while pregnant with her first child, North.
The Skims founder has attended the gala ever since, though, and made quite the mark on the carpet every year.
